![]() The National Progressive Taekwondo Association was founded in 1992 by Master Instructor Dan Perry. With the philosophy that there is good technique to be found in all forms of Martial Art, his vision is to create strong community leaders through professional Martial Art instruction. Currently a 6th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor and the creator of the Pilsung Pattern System, Master Perry has over 38 years of Martial Arts experience. Headquartered in Springfield, MO, the NPTA is one of the fastest growing Martial Arts Associations in the country. The NPTA's primary art is the traditional Chon-Hon form system of Taekwondo, with a National Registry maintained for all NPTA members. The NPTA is a progressive-minded organization, so cross-training is encouraged. Each NPTA school may offer training in other Martial Arts, depending on the expertise of the instructor. However, the primary ranking system for each NPTA school is, and always will be, the traditional Chon-Hon form system.
